I have internet!
My goodness, what a relief it is to be able to perch the laptop anywhere I like and still have connectivity! How brilliant it is to load every page quick as quick and not worry that it's going to cut out on me at any second! Woo! It's like another big weight has been lifted.
Talking to JR again is the main big weight that has been lifted. It's so good to know we can just have a chat whenever, because not talking was such hard work! :) If he's reading this you rock man.
I just finished listening to "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nightime". It's a dead good listen, and I'm sure that'll make it a good read too. The fact that it was on Audio CD was good for me, because I have a horrible habit of leaving books half finished. Which is why as my New Month's Resolution (I don't make New Year ones) I'm going to try to finish books. By way of encouraging myself to do so, I am going to keep a record on the website of all the books I read this year. There you should find the date started, the date finished, a quick review and a link to Amazon.co.uk to buy said item.
I have so far this year finished two books (although I daresay a book on CD is somewhat cheating, but I'm going to count it anyway!). I'm nearly halfway through The Case for Christ (the next book I'm going to concentrate on) and I have got a very little bit to read on Intercessory Prayer and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, although I might leave that because I don't have The Return of the King in Spain with me, and if I finish it I will just be desperate to read the next one!
I have got three new books from Amazon today, Balderdash and Piffle, The Sacred Romance and Captivating. I'll tell you more about them as I read them.
