Unveil Me

What it takes (Jan 2006)

I am woman; Daughter of Eve,
Know me better.
I am the beauty veiled,
Unveil me if you deserve me.
I am vulnerable, but strong,
Rescue me if you have the courage.
I am sensitive, yet passionate,
Desire me if you desire anything.
I am tender, but fierce,
Fight for me if you dare.

If you are man, Son of Adam,
Fear nothing but God Himself.
Go into battle even if the odds
Are stacked high against you,
Take the risks required to rescue me,
Sweep me up in your adventure,
Protect my vulnerability,
Defend my honour,
Be brave enough to be my man.

For only a warrior may fight for me,
Only a hero may rescue me,
Only a man may claim me.

And I am woman.
So unveil me.
