Friends are good
I had a fabulous day in York today with three old friends from my Uni days: Clare, Rob and Chris.
We chin-wagged joked and laughed in a variety of tea-rooms and bars before taking a walk around the city walls and taking photos of each other outside the Minster. I hope I never lose these people from my life, since, if you'll allow me a moment of sentimentality, I shared some of my most formative years with them. My life wouldn't be the same without you guys! I love you!
Having already stayed in Edinburgh with another great friend Becky earlier this month, my summer in England will be made complete next week when I visit York again and stay with probably my closest friend Grace. I'm sure photos of that will follow too! After that will follow my brother's wedding and then back to Espana! (I could do with prayers for the journey given the current flight crisis!)
My only regrets this summer have been failing to meet up with two friends who were once very close, but through various circumstances I have not coincided with. If you know who you are I hope we will meet again.
